NEW APPOINTMENTS AT ACP MAGAZINES

NEW CLEO EDITOR AT CLEO SINGAPORE

ACP Magazines is delighted to announce the appointment of Deborah Tan as the Editor of Singapore’s leading young women’s title, CLEO.

She takes over the helm from Corinne Ng who has been promoted Editorial Director, responsible for the brand positioning and editorial direction of ACP Magazines’ portfolio of market leading titles.

Deborah began her fast track CLEO career as an intern. Her talent was quickly noticed and she was hired two months later as the magazine’s Editorial Assistant. She has since occupied positions as Beauty Writer, Features & Health Editor and Assistant Editor, before moving into the Hot Seat.

“Deborah’s natural journalistic talent combined with her commercial acumen and ability to really get to the heart of the CLEO audience made her an obvious choice as Editor,” said Ms Ng.

“In the past five years she has introduced articles the CLEO readers can really relate to, developed hard-hitting features that reach out to young Singaporean women, and developed the kind of creative and advertorial ideas that get marketing and communications messages across.”

ABOUT CLEO: Targeted at young women aged 17-29 years old with disposable incomes and from families with high household incomes, CLEO Singapore is currently the second best-selling women’s title in Singapore according to AC Nielsen’s 2006 Media Index, with a monthly readership of 124,000.
